Right now, all work on Folket is voluntary. Code, design, text, strategy — it's all done by people who use their spare time. That's where we are right now, but it's not sustainable in the long run.

The goal is for Folket to eventually be funded by its users — just like Wikipedia. Small contributions from many people. No major donors, no dependencies, no one who can pull the plug.

Every krone goes directly to building the system. We publish regular accounts, so you can always see what the money is being used for.
